Our Rooms

Choose from our 11 unique and individually designed bedrooms for short term stays. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, free WiFi access and air conditioning. Each is unique and named after a Brody House artist whose works feature in what were often their former studios. 

etienne's room

Named after French artist, Etienne Claret de Fleurieu, this spacious (32 sqm) bedroom featuers an ensuite bathroom with shower/bath, super king double/twin bed and sofa bed for a third guest.

Featured artist & back story: Etienne spent two years in Budapest living and working in the house. Among his collectors is French fashion designer Agnes B. Etienne currently resides in Brussels.

ludo room

Another French artist, Ludo Thiriez, worked in Brody House and received valuable guidance from Etienne. Ludo works between Sao Paulo, Paris and Budapest and his (30 sqm) room features a free standing bath, separate shower, dressing table and clothes hanging space made from wooden offcuts and a super king double bed that can also be configured as a twin.

Room features: 28 sqm, AC, walk in shower/wet room, hairdryer, super king double / twin bed. Max occupancy: 2 ppl.
Featured artist & back story: Budapest has a strong history of famous photographers and photographic works such as Robert Cappa. The photo room features work from Christopher Everard (UK), Tibor Papp (HUN) and Attila Lóránt (HUN).

Judit's Room

Room features: 22 sqm, AC, shower, balcony, hairdryer, 1 double / twin bed. Max occupancy: 2
Artist & back story: 

Eszter's Nest

Room features: 12 sqm, AC, shower, hairdryer, double bed, stairs to bed NB: Not suitable for people with reduced mobility! Max occupancy: 2. 
Artist & back story: In attempt to make use of the grand ceiling heights and inspired by Terrence Conran's book on small spaces - a second level was constructed to house a double bed.

droga room

Room features: 30 sqm, AC, ensuite shower/bath combo, hairdryer,  super king / twin bed. Max occupancy: 2.  
Artist & back story: International artist and sculptor, Bo Droga (Australia) became friends with the founders while working in London. On each periodic trip to Budapest Bo creates and contributes a new piece of artwork for his room. Bo currently lives and works in Paris. 

yeresko room

Room features: 28 sqm, AC, shower above large bath, hairdryer, king sized bed. Max occupancy: 2.Artist & back story: Yan Yeresko from Belorussia was introduced to Brody House by Alex Tinei.  Yan currently has an atelier in Brody Studios and spends his time in between Minsk and Budapest.

tinei room

Room features: 33 sqm, AC, free standing gold painted bath, ensuite shower, bath, hairdryer, king sized double / twin bed. Max occupancy:2. 
Featured artist & back story: Alex Tinei, encouraged by the founders, set up his first atelier in the house and was the first artist to start working here. He considers the move was  instrumental to his professional career. Alex since has found success internationally and currently has an atelier at Brody Studios.

Weiler studio

Room features: 45 sqm, AC, split-level/ duplex, kitchen, shower, hairdryer, super king / twin bed, sofa bed, stairs, coffee/tea making. Maximum Occupancy: 6 (Rates quoted are for two people - additional supplements will apply). 

Julia's Studio

Room features: 43 sqm, AC, split-level/duplex, kitchen, shower / bath combo, desk, hairdryer, king sized double/twin bed, single bed, sofa bed, stairs, coffee/tea making, television.  Maximum Occupancy: 4 (Rates quoted are for two people, additional supplements will apply). 
Featured artist & back story: Hungarian artist Attila Stark.

the print suite

Room features: 76 sqm, kitchen, oven, coffee/tea making,  microwave, shower, lounge, double sofa-bed, hairdryer,1 super king double / twin bed. Maximum Occupancy: 4 (Rates quoted are for two people, additional supplements may apply).
